He Coded With Satoshi. He's Back to Save BTC Treasuries.

Slashdot pioneer wants to give Strategy a new strategy.

Bitcoin pioneer Jeff Garzik will speak Bitcoin Treasuries Conference 2026 — The Wall Street Event of the Year for Digital Assets

Jeff Garzik found Bitcoin in July 2010 from a Slashdot post, and soon after was swapping patches with Satoshi Nakamoto. Sixteen years later, his read on where we are is blunt: the ban risk is gone, the institutions are coming.

But Garzik's more interesting claim is about what treasury companies are getting wrong right now. Every Bitcoin sitting on a corporate balance sheet earning zero yield is money left on the table.

His framing: custody was step one, and the industry cleared it. Multi-sig, geographically separated key teams, air-gapped machines in secure rooms. Check the box. Wall Street's second layer leveraged ETFs, indexes, options on the individual plays — that's arriving now.

Yield is the step nobody's taken. Rates on BTC sit in the low single digits. Not amazing. But 1-2% on billions is not nothing, and zero is a choice.

That's the thesis behind Hemi, his Bitcoin L2 that offers Bitcoin finality combined with EVM programmability. The question every CFO in this space is walking into 2027 with is what that Bitcoin is supposed to dosit there, or work? Garzik has a clear answer.

Hear more about Jeff’s view in his recent podcast with Tyler Rowe. Over 12,000 people already have. It’s now our 2nd most watched episode ever.

Adam Back. Grant Cardone. Eric Weiss. Raphael Zagury. Matt Cole. They’ll be there to offer their view. You can still be there with them, but seats are capped at 300, and early adopter pricing is disappearing fast.
